Just over two years since its inception and plenty of strong, dance-floor oriented releases down the line, Light my Fire presents its second compilation, ‘Future of House II’, which gathers twenty-two exquisite, at times exclusive tracks by the label’s core artists and friends. As the title suggests, the young label is ambitiously aiming to look towards the future, while referencing timeless house signifiers and contemporary soundscapes in the process. It becomes apparent that LMF doesn’t necessarily see the future of house in one singular style, but rather in a multitude of facets… quality is key.
